About Us
Marianne and Kim
We met on Linked-in in 2017. Marianne had opened Jade's in South Pasadena on Huntington Drive, and was looking for California designers. Kim had just started Ginger Los Angeles, a new line of resort wear, inspired by Ginger from Gilligan's Island. Kim posted a couple of items and Marianne asked to see the line. We started co-hosting events at the store and became friends. When the opportunity to move to the Paseo in Pasadena came to be, we decided to partner up! Sharing a love for all things shiny, we have our own line of cocktail dresses, and a line of crystal embellished tee's and hoodies. In addition to our designs, we support local California designers.
Custom design
Did you know we also offer custom dress options? We made a wedding dress during lock down for one of our favorite VIP's in May 2020. She got married in her backyard, and wanted something really special. This is the text we received after the wedding, "HI Kim and Marianne! It has been a month since the wedding and I am still in love with the amazing dress you created for me!! Thank you again for whipping out a gorgeous gown in 2 weeks!!" This is why we do what we do! We will help you look and feel absolutely beautiful!
